- Another Gershonite, son of Shimei, (1 Chronicles 6:42) possibly the same as the preceding.
- Father of ancestor of Joab, a Gershonite in the reign of Hezekiah. (2 Chronicles 29:12) (B.C. before 726.) At a much earlier period we find the same collocation of names, Zimmah and Joah as father and son. (1 Chronicles 6:20)
